Athena SWC is excited to announce its most recent promotions and new hires to support its strategic growth plans. As of March 1, Athena promoted two employees and hired three new sales development representatives.
Kevin Zaepful has been promoted to Account Manager. In this senior role, he is responsible for the high-level strategic guidance of client programs, tactical program management, process improvement implementation, target profiling, and sales process and situational consultancy. This marks Kevin’s second promotion since he started in 2018. He was promoted from a marketing associate to Sr. marketing associate in 2020. Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Niagara University.
“I think Kevin’s ability to think outside the box and look for ways to process improve, along with his experience working here will make him a strong Account Manager,” said Director of Operations, Chris Mays.
In addition, Chelsea Quarmby has been promoted to Sr. marketing associate. In her new role, Chelsea is responsible for developing and managing lead opportunities to build and maintain robust sales pipelines for her clients. Chelsea started with Athena part-time in 2019 and came on as a full-time sales development representative in 2020. She is a 2018 graduate of the State University of New York College at Buffalo.
“Chelsea has been a team player from the beginning and on numerous occasions has stepped up and taken on additional responsibility when called upon,” said Mays. “ I am looking forward to having Chelsea more involved with our customers and assisting in mentoring our new staff.”
In addition to promotions, Athena has hired three new sales development representatives. These new employees will support Athena’s growing client base by identifying qualified sales opportunities and providing market intelligence for their clients.
Matt Lorigo comes with years of prospecting/sales/customer service experience in manufacturing and logistics. He has a communications degree from Medaille College.
Patrick Cunningham is currently a student at Drexel University, but he will be working part-time remotely. Patrick worked previously as a sales development rep and brings valuable experience.
Daniel Juarbe is another remote employee, who will work from his home in Connecticut. He brings with him extensive sales experience, including cold calling, prospect qualification, and lead pipeline management. All three new employees report to Chris Mays.
